"Instead of saying “I don’t have time” try saying “it’s not a priority,” and see how that feels. Often, that’s a perfectly adequate explanation. I have time to iron my sheets, I just don’t want to. But other things are harder. Try it: “I’m not going to edit your résumé, sweetie, because it’s not a priority.” “I don’t go to the doctor because my health is not a priority.” If these phrases don’t sit well, that’s the point. Changing our language reminds us that time is a choice. If we don’t like how we’re spending an hour, we can choose differently."
I have posted this before, but it’s always worth remembering.
"Great people do things before they’re ready. They do things before they know they can do it. And by doing it, they’re proven right. Because, I think there’s something inside of you—and inside of all of us—when we see something and we think, “I think I can do it, I think I can do it. But I’m afraid to.” Bridging that gap, doing what you’re afraid of, getting out of your comfort zone, taking risks like that—THAT is what life is. And I think you might be really good. You might find out something about yourself that’s special. And if you’re not good, who cares? You tried something. Now you know something about yourself. Now you know. A mystery is solved. So, I think you should just give it a try. Just inch yourself out of that back line. Step into life. Courage. Risks. Yes. Go. Now."

Had a productive morning at work (Tuesdays the clinic is closed so I get to go in whenever & actually have uninterrupted time to get stuff done, plus wear whatever I please & blast the new Vampire Weekend CD).
Eating this perfect paleo salad in the SUNSHINE - lots of veggies, a little mango, tuna & egg.
MIGHT go join this cutsie globo’like gym on the hill later, might not. Forever going back and forth with the desire to get my cardio game back on par as its lost from my past year of only strength based crossfit stuff. Hmmmm.
Going to get serious about meal prep later tonight - planning on making all my meals for the work week following paleo zone.. Will see how six two block meals feel.
Did I mention the sun is shining? As I always say, Seattle is perfection when the sun comes out.
Breakfast - oats topped with fruit and honey #food
